Nestled in a picturesque valley, Lake Toma is the source of the Rhine. The trail begins at the pass road just below the pass, is very well marked and not difficult, therefore ideally suited for families.
In June, when you have the late melting snow, a hike to the waterfalls at Baun is a special experience. With luck, during the ascent on the eastern side of the Val Strem you may see Capricorn, Marmots and Roe Deer.
