Summer
There are over 350km of footpaths around the two resorts, as well as the walk to the source of the Rhine and the Alp Transit Tunnel path. The high alpine "Senda Sursilvana" path (about 100km from the Oberalp Pass to Chur) is one of the highlights that draws hikers to the region. The 9-hole golf course in Sedrun is the only place in Switzerland where you can hit your ball over the Rhine! Also in the area you may find Gold or Cyrstals, as the region is rich in these minerals.

Winter
The two ski areas of Disentis and Sedrun, with the latter being part of the Gotthard Oberalp Arena, offer 200km of slopes. Families are especially fond of these wide slopes, while snowboarders get their money’s worth in the fun park and on the half-pipe. There’s lots of fun to be had on the 3.5km-long sledging run in Sedrun’s main skiing area. In the evening, the wellness oasis Bogn Sedrun is an inviting place to relax. Disentis is known as a freeriding, off-piste and touring paradise, with 60km of guaranteed snow slopes rising up to nearly 3000m. Disentis/Sedrun also has over 30km of varied cross-country skiing tracks.
